The Role...

Associate or mid-level individual with background in development, capable of driving the engineering needs of the application security aspects of products built in-house and/or integrated from third parties and ensuring alignment with the business technology strategy.

Work closely with the other Application Security areas (Architecture and Testing), wider Security team and project teams throughout the organization to ensure the adoption of best of breed Application Security practices, so that security vulnerabilities are detected and acted upon as early as possible in the project lifecycle.

In addition to ensuring a continuous and reliable availability and performance of the existing security tools (both commercial and internally developed), the role also involves its continuous improvement (namely to cover emerging technologies/frameworks)


What You'll be Doing... 

  • Develop and maintain engineering components (mainly Python) that enable the Security team to ensure internally developed code is following security best practices;
  • Ensure a continuous and reliable availability and performance of the existing security tools (both commercial and internally developed);
  • Knowledge about Everything as Code and how to integrate Security into this flow - CI/CD, DAST, SAST, Security Scanners, Controls;
  • Act as part of the Application Security Engineering team and support the operational & security processes;
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to detect, mitigate, triage, and remediate application security defects across the enterprise;
  • Offering guidance to development teams on how to solve vulnerabilities, incidents, business logic flaws or implement security requirements;
  • Understand the architecture of production systems including identifying the security controls in place and how they are used;
  • Capable of suggesting and implement security controls for both public & private clouds;
  • Plan and develop deliverables according SCRUM.
