The Role

As the Head of Technology for Sportsbook Platforms you will report to the Flutter UKI Director of Sports Platforms.

You will lead one of the Sports Platforms Tribes, Sportsbook Platforms, and you will work closely with the other Heads of Tribes of this department.

You will lead all this Tribe delivery teams and you will be the ultimate responsible for the throughput of their delivery as well as for assuring the right performance and stability of all the components, systems, and platforms owned by this organization.

This role will require the leadership of cross program deliverables and as such will require travel to other Flutter UKI tech offices.


  • Delivery
    • Support the different Flutter UKI Brands roadmap needs, but always following the best sharing, efficiency, and reusability principles   


  • Efficiently adjust and plan the allocation of the Sportsbook Platforms delivery teams to meet this Tribe multiple stakeholders needs


  • Identify and mitigate or resolve any delivery bottlenecks.


  • Engage with colleagues inside and outside Technology to ensure that complex and cross-functional initiatives are delivered, and dependencies are managed


  • Stakeholder Management
    • To partner with the other Sports Platforms Head of Tribes in the definition of the Sports Platforms' communication, strategy, and success metrics.


  • Build strong relationships with key Flutter UKI division stakeholders from across our Commercial, Product and Technology teams


  • Build relationships with key other key stakeholders outside Flutter UKI, namely, with all the other Divisions, including Flutter Group, that have adopted the Global Betting Platform.


  • Manage a significant budget (in terms of finance & people) and it will be expected to find the best synergies and optimize efficiency of your teams


  • People
    • Attract the best talent into the tribe


  • Assure that our talent is continuously developed, motivated, and engaged, ensuring that high performers are continuously challenged and provided with new opportunities, and poor performers are managed up or out


  • Responsible for championing every success from the Tribe.


  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Technology teams and evolve our agile/scrum delivery processes
