Role purpose:

Achieving our vision and maximising the potential of the 4500+ technologists in the Flutter group will involve significant change in all areas of Technology, as well as other related functions.

Reporting to the Programme Director, the Project Manager will lead the planning and delivery of multi-faceted, cross-divisional projects as part of our commitment to deliver the Cyber Security Strategy utilising the risk-based security policy framework and robust governance and compliance capability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partnering with key stakeholders from across the Flutter technology team, divisional technology teams and, where necessary, third-party vendors to define project scopes and plans for the delivery of our Cyber Security strategic initiatives
  • To create and deliver all aspects of the project plan, ensuring milestones are met, budgets are managed, and outcomes are achieved
  • To establish the appropriate governance structures and reporting processes, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely fashion
  • To manage any third-party vendor in liaison with our legal, technology and business teams ensuring that all contractual and SLA obligations are adhered to
  • Where necessary, to work with teams across the group to ensure change is effectively embedded
  • Fostering an organisational culture that embraces and thrives on change
  • Serving as a role model in the promotion of the Group's position on responsible gambling.

  • Strategic thinking: Demonstrates a good understanding of overall Group and Group Technology strategic objectives. Mostly able to apply strategic knowledge to specific initiatives and/or decision making. Can consider and explore scenarios and possibilities to help Divisions succeed
  • Strategic communication: Provides timely and helpful information to others. Able to flex communication style to meet the needs of various audiences (Divisions/locations). Mindful to listen to different perspectives and able to provide constructive feedback

Key requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of project managing global cyber security change projects for a digital organisation.
  • 3-5 years of experience in leading cyber security projects within a global organisation is desirable.
  • Significant experience in implementing security frameworks, e.g. ISO 27001, NIST.
  • Experience of delivering technical security projects and of working with cyber security domains.
  • Solid understanding of risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative.
  • Superb organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of business technology.
  • Previous experience of managing third party vendors.
  • Self-starter.
